Invoicing and Money Transactions Lead Developer

Are you an experienced Lead Developer with a strong technical and insurance business background in billing and financial transaction systems? We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our well-working Invoicing and Money Transactions team, to help us develop and maintain our critical billing and financial transactions in OP Insurance. We have a multi-cultural team, where we respect and help each other. You would be joining a well-working team, with experienced professional as colleagues to help you succeed as a lead! 

What is the role like?

You are responsible for designing and architecting solutions, implementing software, and driving development within a team. Your role includes participating in hands-on fixes and software implementations. Additionally, you will support the Product Owner in tasks that require deeper technical understanding.

The position is located in Helsinki, Vallila.

What we expect from you?

• Over 20 years of experience in developing billing and financial transaction systems, collection systems, and accounting interfaces for the insurance business, along with related processes.  

• Familiarity with the P2000, GEN, and IMS technologies used by Pohjola, including their billing and financial transaction systems, collection systems, and accounting interfaces, as well as their interdependencies.  

• Broader understanding and expertise in Pohjola's insurance and customer systems, as well as experience with data transfers and integrations with enforcement and collection agencies, are considered an advantage.  

• Understanding of the P2000 data model 

• Proficiency in CAGEN, PL/1, Telon, Easy++, Extreme Streamserve, Rest, DB2, DCF Printing, Rest interfaces
