We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join our 17-person Genesys team at OP Financial Group.  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of our group-wide contact center solutions built on the Genesys platform. This position offers an opportunity to shape how OP will interact with its customers in the future. Role Overview: 

As the Lead Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical development of our contact center solutions, ensuring architectural compatibility and alignment with group-wide standards. Your role will involve collaborating closely with technical teams, Enterprise Architects and Tech Leads, providing guidance to your colleagues, and making sure our systems perform reliably and securely. You’ll also get to engage in our wider CRM transformation working on projects that bring Genesys and CRM capabilities together within the same tribe. 

 

This role is based in either Helsinki or Oulu, and we support flexible working arrangements combining office and remote work inside Finnish borders. 

 

 

What we’re looking for: 

 

We expect you to have a strong technical background and a track record in leading technical development teams. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the solutions your team develops and ensuring high standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in modern software architecture, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is willing to guide others while remaining hands-on with the code when needed. 

 

 

Key Qualifications: 

 

  • Experience in managing large-scale system renewal programs. 

  • Deep understanding of contact center solutions 

  • Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS/PaaS platforms  

  • Practical experience in using tools like JIRA and Confluence. 

  • Proficiency with integration patterns such as event streaming, APIs, and batch jobs. 

  • Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, or JavaScript. 

  • Excellent communication skills in English
