Senior Solution Analyst, Core Banking System, Platforms & Operations team

We are looking for a Solution Analyst to join our Platforms & Operations team in the Core Banking System tribe. The position is based in Helsinki but our remote work practices in Finland area are flexible.

What is the role and team like?  

We are currently enabling a gradual transformation of Retail and Corporate Banking segments in OP Financial Group. Transformation is enabled by shared core banking system and other system upgrades. As the name suggest, Core Banking System tribe is responsible of OP's new core banking system and successful transformation, also known as Valas, as a whole.    

We´re now fitting this new system into OP's technology environment. For this reason, we are now seeking a Solution Analyst to plan, document and create customer data management, business authorization rules, data warehousing, accounting, and planning the simultaneous use of the new and old environment, etc on Core Banking System area.   

As a Solution Analyst you will be involved in implementing those solutions to production. You will also participate to the hands-on software development work with the rest of your team. You’ll also get to work closely with your team members and collaborate with external stakeholders, both onsite and offshore

In this position your task is to identify and define the requirements outlined by the business as essential and create technical descriptions for these requirements. You will receive support from a team of product experts, architects, and in-depth business experts who possess extensive knowledge in their respective areas.  

To be able to seamlessly join our team, we hope that you already possess a few key competences needed in this position: 

• Ability to operate in an environment with multiple stakeholders 

• Perception of large entities and the ability to split the entity into smaller sub-entities 

• Previous experience with basic core system reforms that integrate the new system into the existing system environment 

• Good documentation skills (process, high level technical) 

• Experience from integrations: API interfaces, event-based integrations 

As mentioned, in this role you will actively co-operate with many different stakeholders and teams. For this reason, we hope you are a person who enjoys teamwork and are always excited when meeting new people. For this position fluency in English is required and Finnish is considered as a plus.
