Senior Developer/Lead Developer (VALU Insurance platform renewal)

At OP Insurance we are building our future software platforms, and we are currently looking for a Senior Developer/Lead Developer in our “VALU platform renewal” Tribe, “System” team. We expect you to have strong, hands-on experience in maintenance and operations of Guidewire. If you are interested in taking a deep dive into insurance business, keep on reading more about the role! What is the role like?

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer/Lead Developer for our System team responsible for maintenance and operations of our Guidewire systems. You will work in a scrum team, closely with other technical experts co-operating also with colleagues both onsite and offsite.


As a Senior/Lead Developer your duties include guiding other team members, and ensuring the team follows best practices for maintenance and operations. 

What we expect from you?

 

We expect strong DevOps background, and hands-on experience operating Guidewire platforms:

 

  • Experience in modern software pipelines and CI/CD automation toolchains for Guidewire environments

  • Integrations: GW cloud deployments and GW cloud integrations, and live Operations of complex large deployments

  • Hands-on experience in performance and security testing, also for GW deployments

  • Extensive background designing and planning go-live system deployments: designing and planning production deployments, and knowledge of the processes and best-practises for successful live Guidewire system deployments

 

This would be working language English, location Helsinki.
