Senior Developer, Lead Developer VALU Insurance platform renewal

At OP Insurance we are building our future software platforms, and we are currently looking for a Senior Developer/Lead Developer in our “VALU platform renewal” Tribe, “Data” team.

What is the role like?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer/Lead Developer specializing in ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, and Data Management to lead Guidewire Data Management implementations for Property & Casualty insurance clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in migrating legacy data, architecting scalable data solutions, and ensuring seamless data integration across enterprise systems. 


You will work in a scrum team, closely with other Software Developers, Tech Leads and Solution Analysts.  You will be co-operating also with colleagues both onsite and offsite. 
As a Senior/Lead Developer your duties include leading ETL/ELT development teams, ensuring best practices in data migration and integration. You guide and oversee Guidewire Data Management implementations, including Datahub & Infocenter. 


You are comfortable architecting ETL/ELT solutions to migrate legacy insurance data to modern platforms, designing and optimizing data models for insurance analytics and operational reporting. Your responsibilities also include driving data migration strategies for large-scale Property & Casualty insurance transformations, collaborating with business and technical teams to define and execute data integration strategies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance optimization across insurance applications.

•    Certifications in Guidewire DataHub and Infocenter
•    Team Leadership & Mentorship


This would be working language English, location Helsinki.
