Senior Developer, Lead Developer Claims Service Shared Capabilities
At OP Insurance we are building our future software platforms, and we are currently looking for a Senior Developer/Lead Developer in our Claims Service Shared Capabilities -Tribe.
We expect you to have strong, hands-on experience from software development and Guidewire technology! If you are interested in taking a deep dive into insurance business, keep on reading more about the role!
Like the rest of OP, we work flexibly, combining both office days and remote work.
What is the role like?
As a Senior Developer, you will focus software development and integrations between our platforms, Guidewire and other third-party endpoints.
You will work in a scrum team, closely with other Software Developers, Tech Leads and Solution Analysts. You will be co-operating also with colleagues both onsite and offsite. As a Senior Developer your duties include guiding other software developers, and their work. Preparing technical designs and solutions will also be part of your responsibilities.
What we except from you?
More than 5 years of hands-on experience with developing Guidewire software and insurance products. In practice this is also
• strong knowledge on development and management of an application with +30 integrations and different technologies (CIC REST, REST API, Mainframe), with various internal and external services (Vero, LVK, Katre).
• deep knowledge on comprehensive claim business and processes (Vehicle and personal voluntary), knowledge on managing continues release processes independently and according to OP's engineering practices.
• knowledge in OP's technical infrastructure and dependencies within changes on infrastructure.
• Understanding the wide range of stakeholders (both internal and external) and capabilities to manage the e2e processes.
• Excellent knowledge on different technologies required: Gosu, Java, SQL, XML, JBOSS.
This would be working language English, location Helsinki.
