Senior Developer, Genesys Cloud


As a Senior Developer in Genesys team, your daily tasks will involve programming, developing and implementing high-quality technical solutions belonging to Digital Capabilities tribe. This is a key position where you focus on planning, developing, deploying and maintaining online solutions and integrating them to the Contact Center Solutions software Genesys. As a Senior Software Developer (Full stack) you will also take part in architecture specification planning and you will be guiding other developers in your team. Your work will be at Helsinki campus whereas part of team’s members work from India.


In our Agile teams all tasks are prioritized through one backlog owned by the team. Mentality is to empower the teams and give them freedom on decision making. Our teams utilize Scrum or Kanban based on their own needs. Agile ceremonies are followed, but common sense is used on implementation of them. That's why we hope that you enjoy working in a team and you are an active team member. Improving our practices is a task for us all. Sprints cycles are extended with quarterly planning session to improve the cooperation within the tribe and between the tribe.

OP is currently executing a large-scale DevOps transformation. Teams are improving solution architecture, automating CI/CD pipelines and taking in increasing amounts ownership of service operations. We embrace the 10:20:70 rule and reserve time for improving day-to-day working and learning. What we hope from you 


Background in both Front- and Back-End development is essential and previous implementation and working experience with Contact Center applications as well as Microservices development environment. You are fluent communicator in English and Finnish is an asset. To succeed and thrive in this kind of environment, you need to be able to learn constantly new tool, technologies and ways of working. We hope you have the most of following:

  • Frontend development (JavaScript es6, react, HTML, DOM)
  • Server-side development (REST API, JavaScript, NodeJS, Java)
  • DB: Relational & non-SQL databases
  • Testing (Test automation, e2e testing)
  • DevOps (Cloud platforms like AWS, CI, git branching workflows)
  • Architecture: Microservice architectures, API driven architectures.
