Product Owner, Monetary Transactions
We are currently enabling a gradual transformation of Retail and Corporate Banking segments in OP Financial Group. Transformation is enabled by shared core banking system and other system upgrades. As the name suggest, Core Banking System tribe is responsible of OP's new core banking system and successful transformation, also known as Valas, as a whole.
We´re now fitting this new system into OP's technology environment. This fitting requires us to think our surrounding systems differently and as part of that we renewing our clerk tooling related to monetary transactions. For this reason, we are seeking a Product Owner to lead the clerks monetary transactions as product to new era.

In this role, you will be responsible of the vision and direction of the team developing capabilities related to account and loan based monetary transactions. You will be leading the backlog of cross functional team consisting of developers, solution and business analysts, designers and tester. Your responsibility will be to guarantee successfully delivery needed for successful transformation.
The level of task complexity is OP7.
Core skills we believe will be needed in this role:
- Product Backlog Management
- Strong project management or agile lead experience (5+ years)
- Work planning and reporting skills
- Proactive, systematic, and result-oriented mindset
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Utilizing skills of Jira and Confluence
- Communication skills in English are a must, fluency in Finnish is an advantage
- Domain experience in Loans, accounts and payments area
- Understanding of accounting and clerck process is an advantage
- Experience on IT deliveries and development lifecycle
