Diversity goal at OP Financial Group

We have defined the diversity goal “OP for everyone” at OP Financial Group. It has been developed together with OP personnel and Executive Management Team members.

We want to be the leading and most appealing financial services group in Finland. Our values, People First, Responsibility and Succeeding Together, require that we include everyone and make sure that no one feels left out.​ 

​As we are coaching our customers in making better financial choices, we need to understand the daily needs of our diverse customer base. To succeed in a constantly changing world, we need diverse expertise now and in the future.​ 

​At OP, everyone can be themselves and we work together so that everyone feels valued. We give everyone equal opportunities to succeed in their work.  

Diversity 

  • Diversity means human diversity of all kinds and the acknowledgment of individual differences. All differences cannot be seen from the outside. 
  • We encourage people to bring up their differing views. We want to spend time to understand differing perspectives to reach our common goals. 
  • We do not tolerate bullying, harassment or discrimination from anyone. We take action against inappropriate behaviour and language.

  • Equity means providing equal opportunities for everyone to succeed in their work.  
  • Equity means that we take into account differing starting points so that everyone can participate fully in the activities of the work community and its development. 
  • We support our employees and customers with measures related to the accessibility of our services and facilities. 

Inclusion 

  • Inclusion is active behaviour. All of us are responsible for including others so that everyone can feel that they belong to our working communities. 
  • Everyone of us creates psychological safety and takes others’ differences into account in daily encounters.  
  • At OP, everyone is seen and heard. We give everyone a chance to participate in discussions.
