What is this role about?

We are looking for a new Reliability Engineer to join our Everyday Banking – tribe. You work in the payment area together with four development teams. The area of payment is a significant business area where we work on the payment of personal customers Op.fi and Op-mobile, cash- and money handling services, and Clerk payments.

In this role, you will get the chance to navigate in a diverse technological landscape, handling integrations with multiple dependencies across different teams, and managing processes that transcend team boundaries. You will act as the technical expert within the payment area. 

Your key areas of responsibility:

• Technical analysis of applications and environments, improving quality in collaboration with the teams

• Developing monitoring solutions for production environments and services and improving their utilization.

• Identifying improvement areas arising from production and verifying the implementations. You will collaborate with the other teams to ensure service accessibility and continuous improvements

This opportunity is available in Helsinki or Oulu, depending on your preference. Like the rest of OP, we work flexibly, combining both office days and remote work.

What do we expect from you?

We hope you have skills and experience in the following areas:

• Container-based technologies, especially on cloud environments

• Application release and deployment process

• Selected monitoring solutions, such as Dynatrace dashboards

We also expect you to be capable of working independently, while possessing strong teamwork and communication skills, including collaborating with teams. Fluent spoken and written English is a crucial part of our international environment.
