We are now strengthening our Transformation Management Office team in Helsinki with a Transformation Specialist Trainee! 

A few words about the job

As a Transformation Specialist Trainee, you will work as part of OP Pohjola Insurance’s function that leads the transformation and supports the coordination of non-life business transformation. In this role, you will produce reports, analyses and presentation materials to support decision-making, and you will participate in monitoring the progress of the transformation and in information management as well as participate in making the transformation process more efficient.

You will support the monitoring of risks, dependencies and development actions, help maintain the transformation roadmap, and take part in developing operating models, processes and tools. You will work closely with senior leaders, transformation specialists, business developers and those responsible for change initiatives. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in business development, project work, analysis, reporting, stakeholder collaboration and change management. 

Does this sound like you? 

You could be the person we are looking for if you are interested in business development, AI, implementing change and supporting data-driven management. You are motivated to learn new things, take initiative in your tasks and enjoy situations where you can structure broad and complex entities. You are in the final stages of your university studies or have recently graduated, preferably in a field of economics and/or technology.

You will succeed in this role if you have:  

• Interest in business development, executing change and project work
• Ability to analyse, structure and visualise information
• Good Microsoft 365 skills, especially in PowerPoint
• Interest in and experience with utilising AI and new tools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of insurance business or insurance-related topics is considered an advantage in this role 

You will excel in this role if you are enthusiastic about learning new things, can quickly grasp the big picture and enjoy working with different kinds of experts.

Our function leads the Pohjola Insurance transformation and supports the Pohjola Insurance management, coordination and monitoring in the transformation. We ensure that there is an up-to-date overall view of the progress of changes and that the right information is available at the right time to support decision-making.
