Senior Solution Analyst (Technical), CBS Loans and Accounts

We are looking for a technical Senior Solution Analyst to join our Loans & Accounts team in the Core Banking System tribe. The position is based in Helsinki or Oulu.  

The team is located mostly in Helsinki and meets once a week, with flexible remote work practicalities in Finland area.  

About the team and the role 

We are currently enabling a gradual transformation of Retail and Corporate Banking segments in OP Financial Group. Transformation is enabled by a shared core banking system and other system upgrades.  

As the name suggest, Core Banking System tribe is responsible for OP's new core banking system and successful transformation, also known as Valas, as a whole. 

We´re now fitting this new system into OP's technology environment. For this reason, we are looking for a Senior Solution Analyst to design and document technical solutions around Accounts – thus enabling the business transformation. The team is called Loans and Accounts and has 14 members, all based in Finland. 

As a Senior Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, documenting and driving Account related, group-level solutions and for supporting different development teams that are implementing those solutions to production.  

You’ll get to work closely with your team members and collaborate with external stakeholders, both onsite and offshore.  

What we are looking for: 

 
We are looking for a person that already has experience in functional and technical design and overseeing tribe/program level implementations. A deep understanding of common software requirements is also needed.  

The ideal candidate will have a process-oriented approach and established best practices.  

 
We work with the following technologies and hope you are familiar with most of them: 

 
•   Integration architectures: REST API, Batches, File-based, Workflow orchestration, Kafka event streaming 
•    API and service design 

•    Data model design, data flow design 
•    Understanding of containers (eg. Kubernetes) and  Public Cloud environments (Azure) is considered beneficial 

In this role you will actively co-operate with many different stakeholders and teams. For this reason, we hope you are a person who enjoys teamwork. The position also requires ability to present and drive solutions with different stakeholders. Full working proficiency in English and working proficiency in Finnish is required.
