Are you a junior portfolio manager or junior analyst looking to grow as part of OP Asset Management’s fixed income team? Would you like your work to help our customers build long-term wealth? We’re looking for a new colleague to join OP Asset Management’s Fixed Income team in Helsinki.

A few words about the job

 

You’ll join a ten-person fixed income portfolio management team at OP Asset Management. The team’s core responsibility is managing OP’s fixed income funds and mandates. In this role, you will analyze and monitor European Investment Grade and High Yield issuers, and support portfolio management for funds and mandates investing in these names. You will also support team to develop investment process and preparing investment decisions.

 

You’ll take part in client meetings and communicate regularly with our customers.  As a member of the Fixed Income Portfolio Management team, you will also contribute to research and development initiatives that support our portfolio management process.

What we expect from you?

 

You already work as a junior analyst or junior portfolio manager in corporate bonds or equities. You likely take a fundamentally oriented approach and understand corporate business models, competitive dynamics, growth potential and the risks behind investment ideas. You also know how to use analytical tools to screen the investment universe and spot attractive investment candidates. You’re comfortable using AI tools and recognise their growing role in our development work. Sustainability and ESG are familiar topics to you.

 

We require a relevant master’s degree (e.g., M.Sc. (Econ.), M.Sc. (Tech.) or Statistics) and fluency in English. You work well with others and communicate your thinking clearly, including in client meetings. You can step back to see the big picture and make decisions grounded in your analysis. You’re proactive and analytical. You know how to find relevant information, focus on what matters, and filter out noise. You can plan and prioritise your work independently and stay effective when the pace picks up.
